SCHOLARSHIPS AND PRIZES

A number of scholarships and prizes are awarded to the students of this college strictly on merit basis. Students who join college are eligible to apply for the following scholarships.

Prizes

1) Ramrai Anant Naik Prize to be awarded to a student who scores the highest number of marks with at least 2nd class among all the candidates from S. S. Dempo College of Commerce and Economics appearing at the B.Com examination of the University.

2) Atchut Santu Bharne Memorial Prize.

3) Narayan Anant Talaulikar Memorial Prize.

4) Vikas G. Khandeparkar Prize.

5) Digambar Raghunath Kamat Memorial Prize

6) Prof. Satish R. Dhume Scholarship.

7) Best Sportsman award instituted by the family of late Shri Joaquim Oliveira, Ex-Student of the college.

8) Rolling Trophies have been instituted by Professors in different subject for those obtaining the highest number of marks at the University Examination.

9) Financial assistance from Student's Aid Fund. In addition to the above students are eligible to apply (as the case be) for the different scholarships/freeship awarded by the Government.
